This course combines terminology, blueprint reading, hands-on software experience, and real-world “on-the-job” lessons to give you practical skills you can use immediately.

Course Content

The Roof Truss Training course covers a wide variety of roof and ceiling types, including:

  • Gable, Gable with T offset, Gable with L offset
  • Gable with Drop Gable and Scissor, Vault, or Cathedral ceilings
  • T and L offset combinations with raised heels, girders, and multiple ceiling types
  • Dual slope tray ceilings, Porch trusses (Polynesian)
  • Gambrel and Gambrel Attic trusses
  • Step-down Hip, Midwest Hip, Dutch Hip, Mono slopes
  • Complex combinations: Match Ridge, scissor, vault, cathedral ceilings, box and pitched trays, dropped gables, raised heels, girders

This course ensures you gain experience with both simple and advanced roof truss designs so you can confidently handle a wide range of real-world projects.
